Women’s Health

Chinese Medicine has a lot to offer women in every unique stage of life- from menstrual issues to menopausal symptoms. Acupuncture, herbs, and nutrition can assist patients to achieve optimal hormonal balance and reproductive health. With additional training in Perinatal Acupuncture, we treat women at any stage of their pregnancy journey. Acupuncture is a safe and effective way to optimize fertility, address common complaints of pregnancy, prepare for birth, and recover and even thrive during the postpartum period.

Herbal Medicine

There is a well-known saying in Chinese Medicine: “One disease, many treatments; one treatment, many diseases.” This adage highlights the individualized nature of Chinese Herbal Medicine, where each treatment is tailored to a patient’s specific symptoms and unique constitution. Herbal formulas treat a multitude of health complaints and can enhance the effectiveness of regular acupuncture treatments.

Cosmetic Acupuncture

An alternative to Botox, cosmetic acupuncture promotes circulation, stimulates collagen production, and releases tension in facial muscles to achieve a more youthful appearance. According to the ancient art of Chinese face reading, when we relax the muscles responsible for our most common facial expressions, this helps to process the emotions behind our expressions. In addition, in Chinese Medicine, the face is seen as a “microsystem" where the organs are represented by specific regions of the face. By treating the face we are affecting the entire body and addressing constitutional factors that can contribute to overall well being.
